We're building funds to help with medical cases and transportation when cost stands between a shelter pet and the care, rescue placement, or opportunity they need.

We're working toward a chat-based support service where adopters and fosters can ask questions and get practical guidance when they're navigating those inevitable “Is this normal?” moments.

$2,000 raised. One program supported. Real dogs given a better path forward.
Before Four Paws Forward officially launched, our community came together to raise $2,000 in support of the Pathway Program at Fort Bend County Animal Services.
The program focuses on long-term shelter dogs who need a little more help getting to their next chapter. Funding helped provide crates and training programs to support the dogs and their future owners. Of the 35 dogs originally identified through the Pathway effort, nearly all ultimately found a path out of the shelter through adoption, foster-to-adopt, rescue, or other successful placement.
And we're just getting started.

Four Paws Forward Project is a Texas nonprofit organization and is in the process of pursuing federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. At this time, we cannot guarantee that donations are tax-deductible. We’ll update this information as our nonprofit status progresses.

Donations support Four Paws Forward programs and initiatives, including medical assistance, transition resources, enrichment, shelter and rescue support, education, and other needs that help pets move successfully into their next chapter. Unless a gift is designated for a specific fund or campaign, we'll use it where it can make the greatest impact.

Our programs are still growing, and the types of assistance available may vary. Four Paws Forward primarily works to provide resources, funding, and support through programs and partnerships that benefit shelter and rescue pets, fosters, adopters, rescues, and shelters.
